Reading list expansion for free

For the past several days, I have entered every single Goodreads giveaway that has been listed regardless of the genre.  Out of over 2,000 entries, I have won six of them.  Maybe it has not been the best use of my time to spend hours perpetually entering contests for free reading material in which I might not even be remotely interested, but I am always up for new things and my current "to-read" list is dwindling.

Nobody wants to hit a hooker?

Police kill naked attacker chewing on man's face in Miami street

MIAMI – Miami police and witnesses say that an officer on Saturday fatally shot a naked man who was chewing on the face of another man on a downtown causeway off-ramp.

The Miami Herald reports that gunshots were heard at about 2 p.m. on the MacArthur Causeway off-ramp, which is near the newspaper's offices. Witnesses said that a woman saw two men fighting and flagged down a police officer, who came upon a naked man mauling the other man.

HDR on the Nikon D7000

I recently upgraded from a Canon Rebel XT to a Nikon D7000.  That increased my megapixels to 16.2 and added tons of functionality including a built-in intervalometer.  Unfortunately, the automatic exposure bracketing is limited to 2EV stops and three exposures.  Of course, until I started researching this week I knew nothing of AEB other than it would take multiple pictures and I could select the best one and delete the other two.  But then I learned of HDR photography which uses all of these exposure levels to improve coloring, depth and even out shadows.
